Art is a passion of mine due to how you can express yourself with it. Throughout my life I’ve seen multiple pieces of art and never knew their purpose. As I grew I began understanding art is a way to express myself without using words. At first, I began drawing as a way to have fun, but then began doing it because I became passionate about it. For me art is a way to show how I feel about certain topics. Not only that, but I hope to become an artist who shares his thoughts to the world through painting, without saying a single word. I also hope as a person to become someone who is inspirational to people who I have never met. I want to be that person on the screen someone looks at and gains confidence from.

My inspirations for my artworks come from real things I see or from media I see on the internet. I like to create first person paintings where you see the artist's perspective. I work with both graphite and color pencils, but I also do well with acrylic paint and gouache. This piece which I titled “Consumed In Dreams” explores the idea of what keeps people trapped in gambling. My artwork shows the idea that most people become addicted to gambling because they only think about all the things they could get with the jackpot. I got this idea from both real experiences and online stereotypes of homeless people. This idea really stood out to me, since many people are quick to judge without understanding the situation more. With this piece, I hope to share the idea that there is always more to things than what we see.
