For my painting I decided to incorporate where I grew up and how difficult it is to start taking the next step to the new world of adulthood. In my art piece I wanted to represent how it’s difficult to choose a path by growing up with strict Mexican parents. When I was in the process of making this project I thought about how my parents never believed that I could succeed in the art industry. What drove me to do this piece is to learn how to express myself through painting and to share my story with those that have the same similarities. I’m proud to say that I tried new ways of watercolor painting, painting with acrylic and incorporating nail art designs in my project. Pushing my limits to the next level was one of the best things I did to improve my nail art.
